dear hannigan,
I am so busy! for example, this Wednesday i have field hockey from 4-5:30, choir from 4:15-5:15, and a French dinner at school from 5-6:30! How am i supposed to do this? i love everything i do, and i dont want to quit anything, but i feel bad about not committing to what i do! have any ideas?

MY ANSWER:
Dear obk'd,
Ah, having so much to do in so little time! that is something most of us experience some part of our life. My antidote for this is:
1.)take a breather! even if you don't want to quit anything, alternate activities. For example, have field hockey and choir overlapping and got a big game this weekend? go to field hockey that week, then the next week go to choir. big banquet that overlaps both, but it doesnt happen often? then go to the one-time event. Coach will understand, and so will your choir teacher. not feeling committed? then put in a few extra minutes in the backyard shooting some goals against your little brother or dad. and practice your songs in front of the mirror at home! (it might sound silly, but hey, it works! i wont share my secrets this often, you know :)) if your just not feeling the love in one activity, then drop it. the rents forcing you? tell them how you feel. there is no reason that you should be doing an extracurricluar activity that you dont enjoy.
hope this works!
